Kim Barthel is a highly sought-after speaker, instructor, clinician, author, and mentor with extensive expertise developed since the 1980s. She captivates diverse global audiences with her storytelling, humility, and scientific knowledge. Specializing in Trauma-Sensitive Practice, Sensory Processing, and various developmental and mental health disorders, Kim instructs therapists, educators, and healthcare providers worldwide. A registered Occupational Therapist with a private practice since 1989, she also co-authored the Canadian best-seller *Conversations with a Rattlesnake*. Kim was honored with the Award of Merit by the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists in 2019.

With over thirty years of professional experience, Bob is a natural connector dedicated to fostering collaboration for the greater good. As CEO and Co-founder of Relationship Matters, he develops global training programs, builds strategic partnerships, and co-facilitates workshops to enhance professional learning experiences. Previously, Bob co-founded Sequoia Energy Inc., advancing large-scale renewable energy projects across North America. His early career in the Canadian Arctic involved educational roles that promoted inclusive learning and community development. Fluent in several languages, Bob holds multiple academic and professional certifications, and his greatest strength lies in uniting diverse teams to tackle complex challenges.

Lista is a Counsellor, Art Therapist, and Consultant with a Masters in Counselling Psychology: Art Therapy from Adler University. Working in Vancouver and Victoria, she draws on her multicultural experience and deep commitment to social justice to support youth and adults facing trauma, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. Lista integrates various therapeutic modalities, including Art Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, in a client-centered and trauma-sensitive approach. She values relationship, compassion, creativity, and authenticity, co-facilitates workshops with Relationship Matters, and is dedicated to creating safe, welcoming communities. Additionally, Lista is an artist and has a therapy dog in training.

Kim Cox has worked as a Pediatric Physiotherapist in family-centred practice in Western Canada for over 25 years, and has supported therapists at Moving to Higher Ground with Kim Barthel for many years. Kim is also a certified Infant Massage Instructor and an active Yoga Teacher. A warm, compassionate Canadian who loves connection and travel, Kim enjoys working with the Relationship Matters’ team to create a safe space for self-reflection and growth. She is passionate about wellness, yoga, children, nature, family and self-discovery. Kim has a deep respect for the mind, body and spirit connection and strives to learn more daily. Kim believes that we all have the ability to change the world in positive ways by turning inward and then following our intuition.

Mr. Loganathan Gurusamy is a physiotherapist specialising in neurorehabilitation. He graduated from MGR Medical University, Chennai, in 2001, completed a Diploma in Developmental Therapy in 2004, and earned a Master’s in Neurological Physiotherapy from Chitkara University in 2017. Certified in various adult and pediatric clinical training programs, including Advanced NDT, Constraint-Induced Movement Therapy, Ayers Sensory Integration, PNF level 3, and Aquatic Therapy, he also provides therapeutic listening services. Loganathan offers seminars and workshops across India and internationally, teaching treatment approaches such as NDT, Aquatics, Sensory Integration, Myofascial Release, PNF, Vestibular Rehabilitation, and Autism. He owns Therapy India, organising international rehabilitation certification programs, and maintains a private practice in Mumbai and Hyderabad.
